Ensemble Applications must be submitted separately for scholarship applicants wishing to participte in a festival ensemble. 

Audition videos submitted through Youtube MUST be posted as either public or unlisted videos. Videos uploaded as private will not be eligible for acceptance. Click here to learn how to make a Youtube video public or unlisted.

What is the Scholarship Application for?

Each year the Department of Music at Southwestern gives away thousands of dollars in scholarship money to elite musicians. Music Festival Scholarships are awarded to talented juniors and seniors that are selectedd by Southwestern's music faculty. The faculty will select a number of students from submitted auditions to be scholarhip finalists. Scholarship finalists are featured as soloists at Southwestern's Festival Showcase Concert, and are eligivle for a scholarship towards their first year of study at Southwestern. The University will cover travel, food, and on-campus lodging costs for each student finalist.
