The Festival Symphony Orchestra

Students who play woodwind, brass, percussion and string instruments may audition for this ensemble.

Audition process:

For academies (Music Directors)

  1. Find audition excerpts (Symphony Orchestra Audition Excerpts Scores)
  2. Schedule a live audition or skype audition (marc.elysee@swau.edu or call 540-908-5047)
  3. Fill-out the online Symphony Orchestra Application form (one per student).

For homeschool/public school students

  1. Find audition excerpts (Symphony Orchestra Audition Excerpts Scores)
  2. Upload a video of your audition on YouTube or schedule a live audition (marc.elysee@swau.edu)
  3. Fill-out the online Symphony Orchestra Application form and copy the link to your audition video.

 

Deadline: Auditions are open until all positions are filled.
