Christian Gabriel Gonzalez is a 17-year-old senior at Joshua High School. He started playing saxophone at age 10 and although he prefers the tenor sax, he can play the alto sax and baritone sax equally as well. Mr. Gonzalez recently purchased a brand new Cannonball tenor saxophone with the money that he earned from working part time at the H.E.B. grocery store in Burleson, Texas. His hobbies include playing music, writing screen plays, and making short films. He is very grateful and excited to have been selected to perform as a Meyerson Festival Scholarship Finalist. Mr. Gonzalez' plans are big and his future maybe uncertain for the moment. But considering his favorite passage is Proverbs 3:5-6, it means he has to trust and acknowledge God more than ever before.
