Mass Choir

The Festival Mass Choir is directed by Jonathan E. L. Wall and is made up of singers representing high schools and academies from across the country. The Festival Choir has the privilege of performing a wondrous array of music that every year ranges from masterworks and traditional favorites to new and exciting choral literature. This year the Choir will perform the Kyrie from the Lord Nelson Mass by Haydn, a World Premiere by Craig Courtney and music from Argentinian Ariel Ramirez.

Vocal Audition Music Singers must video record themselves singing the entire Kyrie (music attached) and submit the link in the application. Auditioning singers may use headphones and listen to the recording while singing their audition, however the recording submitted must only feature their voice not the accompaniment. The singer must be in clear featured view in the video. Top auditions will be eligible for Honors Choir placement and the opportunity to perform with the University Singers at the Meyerson.

Singer Application due Dec. 17, 2018

Audition videos submitted through Youtube MUST be posted as either public or unlisted videos. Videos uploaded as private will not be eligible for acceptance. Click here to learn how to make a Youtube video public or unlisted.
